    Don'tcha think the world would be better off without them though tom? If they didn't exist at all there would be nothing to use as examples of what to avoid since you need not avoid anything or anyone? I don't know though. Some say  you can't appreciate being pain-free unless you've been in pain. Which would mean you can't appreciate good if there is no bad? I think I'm gonna ask because I honestly don't have a clue.     Yes, but nature abhors a vacuum, so I expect we will also have the "bad example" space always filled.

    "...nature abhors a vacuum". Is that a Physics thing tom? Do vacuums exist in space or only in a controlled environment in a research lab?  See how ignorant I am? Never took a class in physics so the questions I ask are truly ignorant. But that's how I learn so I don't mind displaying ignorance. Thank you for your reply! :)
