It's definitely Cuvier's Phylopetroid. It is reliably reported that during the second interglacial one licked a sentry off a defensive wall from a mile and a half away. I'd like to see some ambitious reptile or garrulous old chatterbox try that.
The tube-lipped nectar bat has the longest tongue of in relation to its body size. Its 85 mm (3.3 in) tongue is 1.5 times longer than its body, and must be kept inside its rib cage.
