I have a dog like that...She is a rescue dog and was returned twice before we adopted her....

I wouldn't wish that on anyone or anything other than Trump.

In my dog's case, and unlike Trump, it's really not her fault.

I learned to cut her a great deal of slack.

((hugs)) Oh my goodness. That poor sweet thing. Can you even imagine having that be your experience tom? The hugs are because you and your wife are so kind to do that. Jim and I can't watch those ads on TV that feature these so sad animals that were abused or abandoned. The camera comes in and focuses on their eyes and it just makes you want to cry. Some are there just shaking. So kudos to you and your wife for caring enough to do that. I have a good friend I met on Answerbag who spends a lot of her spare time working at animal shelters so folks will adopt the animals. They do fundraisers and many animals find loving (hopefully) homes. I am so proud of her. SIGH. I cannot imagine anyone abusing/ignoring/abandoning a child or an animal but they do. Thank you for your reply! :) This post was edited by RosieG at February 2, 2018 3:36 AM MST
