Allegedly masochists enjoy pain sexually or otherwise and seek to experience it as often as possible. What do they gain from pain?
Pain turns them on apparently where nothing else can. It seems to me that getting pleasure out of pain is crazy nuts wacko. What does it seem to you and why?
I would say some people like pain (and not only masochists) because it gives them a chance to feel which otherwise they would be less able to do. In other words they are not as sensitive as most of us. Have talked to women as well who use it to psychologically get to the point they are better able to respond. They feel more receptive. I've never found pain at all arousing or sexy but sometimes feeling pain if there is a core of pleasure at the same time you mentally magnify that so by contrast the pleasure becomes all the more significant and powerful.
