Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt are on Mt. Rushmore. Which 4 presidents would you rather see there? WHY?

Gutzon Borglum was the master carver. Following is why the 4 were chosen

Washington
 Selected because of his efforts towards Democracy in the United States

Jefferson
  Selected for his authorship of the Declaration of Independence

Lincoln
  Selected for ending slavery

Roosevelt
  This was Borglum's personal choice for Roosevelt's contributions to business, CONSERVATION and opening
  the Panama Canal
