So what was my point? Simple. The more the man is marginalized, smeared and berated, the more popular he becomes with ANYONE who can identify with being the butt of cruel jokes, bullying, ostracism, dehumanization, etc.
In short, to all who've made it a hobby to bash Trump (or anyone else with whom they disagree), keep it up. The man will ride in to La Casa Blanca on a massive sympathy vote. Don't take my word for it. Go ahead. Keep making him an underdog.
