MilitaryMedals are awarded to reward sacrifice. You have to DO SOMETHING to earn them. They are not toys. They MEAN something. Meaning/value is in the eye of the beholder. Right?
What is your opinion of medals? Do they have intrinsic value or is the only value what we impute to them? Should they be admired and respected or are they nothing more than cracker jack toys? Why?
