The Constitution matters a lot to some and matters not to others. Take the FIRST AMENDMENT* for example. Why do some citizens despise it so?

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof or ABRIDGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH or of the press or THE RIGHT  OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE. and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

The cherrypicking donjohn and his  so-called "religious" supporters pay attention ONLY to the part about religion and completely ignore the part about free speech or peaceable assembly. The donjohn keeps taking bows for signing stuff that protects religion so his adorers will see how very much he is on their side. Yeah. What a crock that is! The guys who take a knee are exercising their right to free speech and they are doing it peacefully, peaceably, quietly. Of course they are mostly black and they take the knee to protest the murders of unarmed young black men by cops who walk. It has zero to do with flag or country. It has everything to do with "speaking up" about a grievous wrong. If folks know it and still bit** shame on them. If they don't know the why shame on them. Either way shame on them and doofus don for once again LYING ABOUT/DISTORTING truth and giving racists a reason to rail against these specific protesters. It's all a sham of "patriotism". There is nothing patriotic about it. SIGH
