Is fantasy the only place that is corruption-free? Is reality never gonna made the grade anywhere? Why is that?

Fantasy is all in our own minds while reality of necessity involves interaction with others.  So the "world" intrudes.  Which can be a corrupting factor but also an enlivening and deepening one as long as we are able to remain compassionate.
