Floridians FINALLY tell pols who do the bidding of the NRA their time is up. What took so long? Why did it take teens to lead this REVOLT?

All the revolts, walk-outs, attacks on the NRA, attacks on the Bill of Rights, calls for more gun laws, etc. etc, won't make any difference. It's because you miss the point completely. You can round up every hunting rifle and target pistol in America tonight and anyone that wants to have an arsenal of assault rifles with a ton of ammunition is going to have it. So, what's the objective? Disarming thugs and mental deviates, or is it the disarming of America? Why not ask citizens in New Orleans, Detroit and Chicago if the murder rate has declined in the wake of the toughest gun laws in the nation? It hasn't. All of this wrath is misplaced as it is every time one of these incidents occurs. Holding legal gun owners hostage will not stop these things, nor will burning the constitution at a candle light vigil have any effect. The criminal element is alive and well and it is not going away just because we decide to threaten those who own guns within the parameters of established law. BTW, all the name calling in the world won't improve the situation either, but I do realize that's all you've got
