You always research/investigate/check out/do "due diligence" and you come up with certain statistics. Do you always know how to use them?

Ever encounter any stats and wonder what you could do with them that made any sense or had any relevance? All stats are not alike. Some matter and some don't. What kinds of stats do you consider least important/useful and why?
