It was an Agreement between four cigarette companies and the attorneys general of 46 states. It settled Medicaid lawsuits against the tobacco industry for recovery of tobacco-related health care costs. The agreement stipulates that they will pay a MINIMUM of $206 BILLION during the first 25 years of it.
