How do they come up with any number? How many are registered? What about blackmarket guns? Guns that are illegal but sold anyway? How do we know the sellers are doing what they are legally supposed to do when they sell a gun to someone. By the way what exactly are they supposed to do? Is there a way to audit it or do we just take people's word for it?
