Since folks are so muddled about intent God should have said "Thou shalt not murder/kill/maim/cripple/damage/poison/harm". WHY didn't HE?

Some folks need everything spelled out for them. It isn't enough to say THOU SHALT NOT KILL. That requires too much filling in blanks, dotting i's and crossing t's and extrapolating beyond the written word and they just aren't capable of doing that. So spell it out. Leave no doubt. Make it very very very clear for them.

     I don't Sharon. I ask questions that occur to me. I ask questions that I WISH TO HE** others would  ask but they never do so it is incunbent upon me to fill in and do what they should be doing too. I ask questions for me and I don't give a rat's a** if those they're about react or ignore. The best I can ever hope for is that someone else out there thought of the same question and we can chat. A dialogue begins. Mostly? I feel all alone out there in the vast universe of unresponsive uninterested detached stoic folks. But I don't care. I serve me. I suit me. If anyone ever wants to jump aboard it's fine with me. I don't wait for them. I don't even worry. If no one ever responds I shall still be here asking my questions of the universe. Ya neve know who is out there paying attention. Thank you for your reply and the graphics! :)

    He knew that we could use the brains He gave us to figure that out by exercising them and our free will to come to the appropriate conclusions.  

    From what I see generally, not enough people put in the time and effort to do that.

    Do you think everyone was born with working brains tom? Seriously? I don't. How many of them there are I don't know but the donjohn supporters forever are surely among them. Common decency, common sense, being humane precludes those with working brains from supporting such a one as the donjohn. Now I know the choice was between Hillary and doofus don. Not a spectacular alternative. I voted for her because whatever she is includes being rational. I don't really fault the ones who chose doofus over Hillary initially. The ones I fault are those who still adore him, support him, defend him and grovel at his feet no matter what he does/says/doesn't do/doesn't. Some who voted for doofus hopefully regret it and won't make that mistake again. They have working brains. Those who will go over the cliff with him? Well how smart are lemmings?
