We have all kinds of days/weeks/months set aside to honor/celebrate/commemorate things. Why not GUN APPRECIATION MONTH?

It would be good to educated people of firearms. It would eliminate some of the incorrect information out there. 
So many don't understand the different actions of guns (automatic, semi automatic, bolt, pump, lever, single,...) and what is and is not legal.

The different calibers, shot sizes etc. I hear some go on about how AR15 are not for hunting (they are) because there would be nothing left of the deer. When in reality an AR15 is not a large enough weapon to kill a deer unless you hit an exact kill spot. Manh states have laws forbidding its use because it is to small for large game. In states where it is legal, many hunters do not believe it ethical because it is not a sure or instant kill.  This post was edited by my2cents at February 23, 2018 5:27 AM MST
