Can you post the song as well?
Billy J. Kramer had a hit with a song called "Little Children".
Good song, little queen. :)
the melody is atrocious... but the lyrics? genius! lol...
thanks so much. =) added another in....
I think it's quite a nice tune. It's very sixties, and it was (not surprisingly) a hit when it came out in 1964. The song was written by the late Les McFarland, who also provided Elvis with a hit ("Stuck On You"). Apparently, Les struggled with an alcohol problem and died in 1971 aged 45. "Little Children" was one of two chart singles recorded by Billy J. Kramer that weren't written by the Beatles (the other one being Burt Bacharach's "Trains And Boats And Planes"). Kramer had four hits written by Lennon and McCartney, and it was the Beatles themselves who knocked "Little Children" off the number one spot in the UK.
wow, that's quite the lesson in the charts for the UK in 1964. very interesting, as i am a massive Beatles fan. thank you... seriously.
i know, because i was born in 1971, that if Les died at 45 he'd be 90 this year, had he lived to this day.
and i didn't mean to slight your taste in music at all. what hits in the UK and the USA can be slightly more or less different. the 60's weren't my fave decade either, however i could hear a more modern band in my head pulling off these timeless lyrics quite well. it's a good song, and it may have even grown on me, if i'd heard it repeated on a radio.
you are welcome. =)
Here you go Children
and its with Justin Bieber no less ;-))
i almost clicked it... then i read "Bieber". thanks for the warning. :)
