What other reason for his existence could there be but that? He is surely not a reward. He is a trial, tribulation, test. If that is so then God has a mean streak in Him which is unfortunate for us. We are supposed to be learning a lesson from all of this turmoil so we can become better enough so that we finally can achieve Nirvana and not have to be reborn. Being reborn is a punishment you see for not being perfect. SIGH. Whomever it was that thought up this particular punishment probably tore the wings off butterflies and microwaved cats. Cruel and unusual punishment is the donjohn. What could we have possibly done in past lives that we should be punished like this? We are supposed to extinguish individual passion, hatred, delusion. But how can we do that when that is exactly what the donjohn brings with him and forces us to live with 24/7? Individual passion (FASCISM,RACISM) hatred (everyone but PUtin) and delusion(he lies 24/7) is his MO. Woe woe woe woe woe woe.
