Peter Hintz, UC Berkeley mathmatician, says charged black holes can erase your past and give you an infinite number of possible futures.YEA?

The  charged black holes that act as RESET buttons and can change the past and the future. Going back to change one thing could be catastrophic. But if EVERYTHING is reset what happens then and if you choose from an infinite number of futures would you like that? If you could know exactly what the outcomes of your choices would be would that take out all the joy of life?  His theory was printed in the Physical Review Letters and it sure sounds  science fictiony to me. What does it sound like to thee?
