Why should aliens want anything to do with us? If they are intelligent enough to find their way here they are infinitely more knowledgeable/intelligent than we humans are. It would be like an "academic talking to a squirrel". Per our stereotypical thinking about aliens we either think they want to hang out with us on our intellectual level and learn from us or they want to destroy us. Our biggest folly might just be our insistence that we are an exceptional species. So much for aliens. Dr. Kaku thinks we should stifle it. Do you?
