Do blonds really have more fun? Any naturally dark-haired gals out there who blondied up and started to have tons more fun?

"Blonds have more fun" is either a big fat lie concocted by hair dye manufacturers or the truth. Any unnatural blonds out there who wanna sue 'em or did dying your hair change your life completely and now from dusk to dawn you have lotsa fun fun fun fun fun fun fun?

I think the only ones who say that are blonds.
    I had a ball as a redhead.

Thank you for your reply Lulu'sMom and Happy Wednesday sweetie. Did you only ever dye your hair once? I did it once and regretted it and had to strip it and redyed back to my natural dark brown and then 6 weeks later I was a redhead so I had to strip it again and redye it again. My one and only time. AARRGGHH! I think it probably can't be so good for the hair if you do it a lot but I don't really have any experience other than  that one-time disaster!

I have been dying my hair for years and decided to let it grow out but it is not working the way I had hoped, so I will be dying it again soon.

I loved my hair blonde, but I doubt if I had more fun.  I had less hair after awhile.  Bleach wrecks dark hair.

But that was a long time ago now.

I just keep it dark and try and hide all the gray.

I love gray hair if I looked good in it, it doesn't make me look good, just washed out.

I have been letting my hair grow out because it is a pretty silver color. But it doesn't look good on me, so it's back to  coloring it for me.

Geez Lulu'sMom you have the hair I WANT! I'm salt & pepper and have been for years. You have what I want and you think it doesn't look good on you. Bummer!  My 2 cents' worth. Sorry for the intrusion! :)

Mine has been salt and peppery for years. I'd love to have it all that gorgeous silvery grey that some older folks have but it's just my luck. I'm stuck. I mean at 80 how much grayer am I gonna get? I think my hair has been exactly like it is now for 20 years. Maybe I'm not the best judge.  I wonder if Old School has seen a change in my hair color during those years?  Anyway I have no complaints. I was bald with the chemo in 2008 and I never realized how being bald made you cold even in summer. Who knew? I don't have the personality of a blond. I'm not bubbly like Doris Day or smoulderingly sexy like Monroe or brilliantly funny like Judy Holiday. I have as much fun as I can handle as it is anyway! Thank you for your reply Sharon and Happy Wednesday! :)
