They want to speed up the end of the trial. Doofus is getting really antsy in the pantsy and wants it behind him. To effect that end here is what they want in exchange for a
face-to-face meeting between the doofus don and Mueller.
Commitment to an end date at least for the Trump part of the investigation
An agreement as to the scope of the questioning.
Mueller isn't at the end of the investigation into Trump/Russia COLLUSION, OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE, MONEY LAUNDERING. He is maybe somewhere in the middle. Gathering info from all those folks he has interviewed. Comparing them for possible inconsistencies. Each day more of them flip and spill their guts. Mueller is a professional. He knows what he is doing. He also knows what he already knows and we don't. Neither does doofus don. The absurd idea that Mueller would comply with lawyers' demands/requests is beyond ludicrous. Mueller has the upper hand. He is in charge. He calls all the shots. The mediocre doofus don lawyers are not in his league or in his class.
