Many parents expects teacher to perform miracles with their children educationwise. Why are they so oblivious to their part in it?

Some or maybe many parents either ignore/neglect their kids' intellectual growth completely or brainwash them with partisan ideologies that turn them into mini-them. Then they send the kids to school and expect the teachers to unscrew their kids when they spent the most formative years totally ignoring them or prejudicing them. What has happened to parents that they forsook their responsibilities to their children and settled for partisan political slogans and cold-hearted aloof disinterest in the world around them? When did they abdicate their responsibilities and transfer them to teachers whom they could blame for all the ills found in education and schools?  "It's not my job" they say. 'That's what we have teachers for". Bullsh**. You have your kids for 5 years or so before they ever see the inside of a school. What are you doing to them or for them to prepare them for school and learning during that time?  How many of you taught your kids to read  BEFORE they ever attended school? You do realize that a love of reading will help them be successful. A desire to learn is nurtured in the home from a very young age. Have you "played school" with them? Taught them the alphabet? Read to them? Taken them to the library weekly so they would want to learn to read? Love of reading opens all the doors to success. Love of learning is a seed planted very early and lovingly nurtured  BY PARENTS. Or should be.  A child is pretty much formed by age 3 and by age 6 is pretty much the person he/she will be.
