Dem Conor Lamb beat Republican Rick Saccone in Pennsylvania. Prez said Lamb ran as Trump. Ryan said Lamb's views are Conservative. All they do is relabel the DEM winners "Republicans". I wonder who thought that up? If you can't beat join 'em but backwards. Of course the GOP base will agree because it would have been impossible for the donjohn endorsement of Saccone to have been a FAILURE as his endorsements of Luther Strange and Roy Moore were! 3-times loser the donjohn. He crashed and burned three times so far. What pol is willing to seek a donjohn endorsement after the humiliating defeat of Saccone which SHOULD HAVE BEEN a sure thing? So they made sure it would be a winner by equating DEM Conor Lamb with Republican Conservative Donjohnny ideology. It is a simple solution to a very vexing problem for the GOP and that problem will be getting much vexier/vexinger. No DEM will win Republican seats. They are all closet Republicans per the donjohn, the ryan the GOP no matter if they say they are DEMOCRATS! All the robotic GOP 'spokesfolks" on TV are already repeating the robotic party line.
