So of course the donjohn talks big and chides others fort fearing the NRA and comes up with a few gun safety laws that sound pretty good. Then he has dinner with members of the NRA and quite coincidentally and mysteriously completely reverses himself. Cowardly act to backtrack like that in view of the world...especially the teenagers. Future voters. It won't matter to the old man who will be out on his a** and too old for anything but eating cheeseburgeres and watching Fox and Friends and tweeting his hallucinatory ramblings. Every Republican will go down in FLAMES who takes money from the NRA and refuses to hold them in check and refuses to write and pass legislation that will put some safety checks on the promiscuous and wanton proliferation of guns. There will be no political future for Republicans who don't pay attention. If they care about the long-term view they will do what they should do. If they are only short-termers let them continue on their path to destruction. One day we will have an RIP for the Republican Party. Unless they change. The ball is in their court and it's their move.
