Do you try to keep up with what's going on before you engage in conversation with those who do? Do you just rely on partisan views?
Ever try to repair/upgrade/refurbish your views based on new information that becomes available or do you just stick with the politically partisaw view of long ago which never upgrades/updates? Why?
I have not been this interested in politics since Watergate. I have not kept up much with politics since Clinton was elected. I didn't think he was all that, I did not vote for him. It was not until I looked back after we got stuck with Bush that I realized that even though he was a philanderer and a fool at that, he was a pretty good pres. and compared to Georgie Bush, he was amazing.
He was well-spoken and knew the issues and was smart as a whip. I have not seen that again until Obama.
Those asinine fools that tried to oust Obama, i.e., Romney, McCain, Joe the Plumber, Palin, and the rest were just a preclude to the imbeciles they pulled out of Clown and Fruitcake University, otherwise known as Trump's Cabinet, presently officiating the Nation.
I still shake my head every morning as I awaken and realize this really happened. Trump is president.
As far as keeping up, even though I sometimes spend all day listening to the news stations, I cannot keep up with the vast amount of people that go through that White House revolving door. I think I get all the names and players listed and I blink and there is a whole new cast of morons. Not just one or two. A whole new cast. Like he is still on The Apprentice casting potentials to fire. YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!

The stock market dove 724 points yesterday, Thursday, March 22, after doofylucy imposed harsher tariffs on China. God only knows what will happen today. The doofylucy took all the credit for the rise in the stock market. Will he even mention the scary dive? If he does he will convince his adoring worshippers that it is a good thing. Or that there was no dive and the sky is green as it has always been the oceans are purple and people are the colors of the rainbow. That last one is true. SIGH. World markets will be affected. He loves chaos and conflict and keeps blowing things up. What's in store for us today? Thank you for your reply Sharon and Happy Friday. I asked the question because there are a few folks here who plow in with ridiculous "info" not knowing anything about it. They spout the party line in all things. What actually happens day to day they do not know and don't care to know. It gets tiresome. Hold on tight sweetie. The already bumpy ride is gonna a whole lot bumpier! :(
