True justice is when the person who commits the crime is the person who is punished for it. Would you take blame/punishment for someone?

How is that justice? The person you cover for could go on and do more harm. I think we need to pay for what we do wrong and I think it's nice to get rewarded for what we do right although the real payoff is doing the right thing and not any rewards/awards that might accrue from it.
