Even the most benign meds have side effects. Some very serious. Ever read the pamphlet accompanying meds and not take them because of that?

 I have. Too scary. But of course the meds weren't a life-or-death thing. They were usually pain killers. I dunno why some cures are worse than the disease or open the door to worse.   I've asked before why meds without deleterious side effects can't be created. There's gotta be a way that you don't have pay for fixing one problem by creating others.
