No. Unless I'm weird too. Well, it depends upon whom you ask Lucia. I KNOW you. At least I know that part of you who has kept her child self alive and well and happy to still be here. You exactly got the point of the question. Thank you m'dear and I am so  happy you answered this question. I would feel very sad if there were not another child within out there masquerading as an adult living joyfully and exuberantly!  Happy Monday! :) ((hugs))

Grow up? What does that mean?

    That's most likely the case.
My inner child is still very alive and kicking.
I am not mature. That's how I know it.

I'm so happy to learn that about you Oscar. I'm 78 and my inner child is still alive and well and active daily. I think those of us who have kept that child alive see life differently than others do. We still believe in  magic and miracles and all the delights of childhood!  Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday to you! :)

Well Ele it's this terrible thing that happens to some people.  Most people. There  is a poem (I forget who wrote it) that talks about putting aside childish things when you grow up. I think that pertains to what it means to be "grown up". It hasn't happened to me yet. Not internally at least. My exterior is definitely old. Everyone can see that. But inside I'm still that little girl who loves happy endings and fairy tales and magic and rainbows and unicorns. She never  left. Just look around you. See all the people whose  eyes are dead, who ridicule being joyful and lighthearted and playful? They scare me. So I believe in unicorns and magic and miracles. I love rainbows,. I dance at home when I hear music I like. I even sometimes bop down the aisle in the supermarket if no one is looking and the music is nifty. What 78 year old old lady is supposed to do? I just don't have the right stuff to be 100% grown up. I'm kinda glad about that actully. Some grownups are not my cuppa tea. They are no fun at all! Happy Tuesday!  :)

That's why we love you Rosie.

I like to sit on the front porch watching the hummingbirds and all of the other wildlife. I try to learn something new each day about nature.

((hugs)) Backatcha my friend.   So your home is situated in a wilderness area then? Do you see fireflies at night and hear owls and birds? What is the most breathtaking thing in nature you've ever seen? While sunset on Waikiki is pretty awesome (I think you know my son lives in Honolulu) the most breathtaking thing I've ever seen I've never seen in person. The Northern Lights. Aurora  Borealis. I've only ever seen it on TV but it was hard to take it all in. How can anything possibly be that beautiful naturally and not be computer-generated? Anyway...what comes to mind when I asked that question Ele?
