Everything he does/says is unprecedented and he gets away with every bit of it. He can pardon whomever he wishes whenever. All the crooks and traitors and criminals he wants. "Pardon my pardon but I can pardon every day anyone and everyone any day." Not his words but I betcha that's what he thinks. And all his adoring worshippers support that. So it's nice to know you can be an evil vile disgusting traitor and the don will rescue you from your just desserts. Probably even hire you for one of his companies. Who wouldn't love having someone watch your back like that? In return of course they all stifle it and don't cooperate and don't tell the truth about him. Truth and the hatred of the one you fink upon versus pardon and a lush future. Who could resist such a deal? Who wouldn't take the pardon rather than have someone like the don your enemy for life??
