Doesn't make sense. Both are very important jobs. Both can help or harm others. Yet there are no standards/requirements. You want the job of parent just have sex and bingo. If it doesn't take just keep doing it until it does. You want the job of pol just run and lie and be ever so adorable. We don't want to be operated on by someone without knowledge/experience/intelligence yet we don't require those particular traits in parents or politicians. So what we get isn't dependable or stable or particularly valuable. Serves us right. Right?
