Perhaps it is God's punishment? If so to whom for what terrible sin? Both the Pols and those who support/defend/elect the marauders are punishment for something. What other reason could there be for the existence of such evildoers and those who adore/support/succor them? Unless God is not in charge as we have supposed but it is all due to the "other guy". Perhaps it is a huge masquerade ball and everyone is wearing masks that hide the awful truth. What lies behind the masks of Pols? Or the people who support them? Too ugly to behold and that is the reason for the coverup?
