Do you try to be a "good" person because you don't want to disappoint God? What about Atheists? Don't they try to be good too? By good I mean respectful, kind, good, honest, caring. I don't understand why striving to be "good" has anything to do with a God or a religion. Why aren't such attributes intrinsically valuable qualities on their own?
