EXCITEMENT EXCITEMENT! ANOTHER INDICTMENT! Michael MacBeth Cohen. "To flip or not to flip? That is the question." Would YOU flip on a prez?

Additionally it seems Michael MacBeth Cohen is changing lawyers. Allegedly. That would do what to help him out of the mess he is in?

I don't think he's changing layers voluntarily - I believe they quit, but I'm not sure why.  If it was because they knew that he's in so much trouble that he will never win any case brought against him and will not be able to pay his legal bills, it may cause Cohen to ask for a deal.

They quit because there were 15  lawyers on the job and Cohen is broke. So currently he is lawyerless and as such is expected to flip. Apparently he is very badly hurt at how King don has distanced himself. He feels abandoned. So "we'll see what happens"! Thank you for yo ur reply L! :)

Can you imagine just how much trouble Cohen must be in if he needs 15 attorneys?  The best balm for abandonment would be for him to flip on rump and tell everything he knows - EVERYTHNG.  Happy Thursday. :)

You know L I'm not sure if there are specific rules to who can pay for someone's legal fees but I would think it would be okay if a client paid for legal fees on behalf of his attorney. But it should be out of his own pocket and of course King don is a well-known cheapskate deadbeat. He knows Cohen has the goods on him though so I don't get why he has distanced himself. I read that Cohen tells pals he is very hurt at the treatment he is receiving and feels "abandoned". He has a family. No means of income I expect at the moment. I mean who would hire  Cohen for anything now? So what is he supposed to do? He'll have to flip. I guess in the immortal words of King don "we'll see what happens". Thank you for your reply. I"m guessing the feds could make Cohen's life a whole lot easier with regard to the length of him he is in prison. All he has to do is TELL THE TRUTH! What a unique concept!  :)

I'm pretty sure anyone can pay your legal bills so long as it's privately done and the funds are not coming from a charity or campaign contributions.  Trump demands loyalty from others, but has no loyalty to them and Cohen should have realized that when the fit hit the shan and the Mueller Russia investigation got underway.  Cohen feels abandoned?  He was abandoned and it's unfortunate that he's too naive or stupid to realize what a POS client he represented.

Cohen may not really have much of a choice for reduced prison time other than flipping on Trump because he doesn't have any other options to use as leverage and I'm sure he knows a heck of a lot that could sink Trump and his entire entourage.

    Happy Friday. :)
