With all the gun-related deaths in America every year we know we will always need people to officially grieve and be bereaved along with the loved ones of those who were murdered. A nice touch which a cold-hearted uncaring government could use to "humanize" it. I don't know how many thousands of funerals there were so far this year but we just staff up to make sure that no funeral goes unattended by a government official. Why not?
