They can't (won't?) believe that he lies. Even when they know he's lying they somehow justify it in their mind whereas to give him the benefit of the doubt.

To say it is perplexing is an understatement Shuhak. The latest? Comrade Bonespur invited Putin for another tryst only this time it will be at the White House in the fall right about the time of our mid-term elections. He really is tone deaf and obtusely oblivious. He thinks he scored a win in Helsinki. I wonder if he plans to turn American citizens over to Putin for grilling at that time?
