Maybe an Answermugger has it right ! That TGITWH suffers from a split personality. Maybe many. Explains all contradictions, doesn't it?

Multiple personalities. How many in the multiple we do not know but wouldn't that account for all his contradictions and reversals and flipflopping? Each entity really believes those things. Problem is we never know which one is gonna show up. I wonder how many there be?
