Can a congenitally UNcredible person ever redeem him/herself and become totally TRUSTWORTHY? Anyone ever do it?

I have a reason that I believe so fervently in Satya Sai Baba and his power.

He always said that the greatest miracle of all is someone's transformation.  That is the person being able to SEE inwardly and change what is wrong.

If you are congenitally plagued, you cannot overcome a birth defect unless a miracle happens.  Therefore, it is very difficult to attribute such a change to GOD or whatever.  Because it is a behavioral change.  As a rule.

But?  People who turn from demon to angel are very easy to read.  You cannot fake this.  You cannot be Carla Faye Tucker who bragged about killing strangers in a drug raid with a pick ax to the victim's heart.  She told the police that it gave her an orgasm.

She totally transformed in jail. Accepted the fact that she was guilty, accepted the death penalty and people who were GOD loving and god fearing people wept at her execution.  People who were not believers, became closer to GOD because of her and she lived in that world till she died.

THAT IS A MIRACLE AND THAT CAN HAPPEN.  IT happens so seldom.  That is why it is called miraculous.

But, we can slowly change on a daily basis. Just by being open to the fact that there is a loving presence who loves us and is actually part of us.

Imagine being a Trump who has NO IDEA what I am saying.  He cannot hear me.  He cannot hear GOD.   If he changes?  I wouldn't believe him.  It would be fake.

He couldn't change if he tried. He is Hitler reincarnated. Or some despot as evil.

Thank you for your reply Sharon and the graphic. I never heard of that woman. Here's my take on things like that. You might get upset with me.  First I think Catholics have something called "extreme unction" whereby if on your death bed if you SINCERELY regret all the evil you did then you can be saved. I think that is bullsh**!  Even if true that people can change completely from devil to angel I don't care. The evil they did cannot be undone. The people who suffered can't be helped.  The carnage damage heartache they caused lives on forever. So they changed! So what? How does that make up for what they did? It doesn't.  They might die feeling good about themselves but what value is that to others? They find Jesus. They find God. They regret what they did. So what? It might comfort them but does NOT comfort any of their victims or families or loved ones does it? I dunno. I can't speak for them. I am not impressed by folks who change AFTER THE FACT OF THE EVIL they committed. I just can't Sharon. I am not a perfect person. I do not forgive evil under any circumstances. I'm not wired to do that. Apologies to thee because I  know you are sincere about what you wrote. I am not as good a  person as you are or as kind or as forgiving. I don't know why that is. It just is.

I don't get upset with any ideas you have.  Honest.

That is not my way.  I get upset when someone comes at me, criticizes me when they don't know what they are talking about and then try and tell me what is really the right way.

Those people.  You are not like that.

I totally agree with you.  Victims must pay.   I  do not want anyone to go free after hurting an innocent.

    NEVER.

But, it impressed me that she did not wish to fight the wishes of the state and praised God until the last second and asked for forgiveness and peace for those she wronged.

I mean if you are going to be a killer and repent, that is the way to do so.

But the biggest heroes are those who don't kill in the first place.

    Happy Tuesday, Rosie
