It is COGNITIVE BIAS that people with little expertise or ability suffer from because they assume they do have superior expertise or ability. They don't know enough to know that they don't know. They operate in a universe of "alternate facts" assuming that is the only place they can find truth. They hoodwink easily. They buy all the output of super hoodwinkers like Alex Jones and Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. Easy prey.
