Religious FREEDOM or LUNACY? An Answermug pal said she walked out on a job which requred her to stand and pray to Jesus. Can you beat that?

What is the most bizarre thing required of you on the job? Didja do it or did you walk too?

Phoenix, Arizona, circa George Bush era after 911 when no one dared say anything out loud about George and GOD.

    YEP.

I seriously had to get a grip before I left that day.  I did not just walk out in the middle of the prayer.  I had to process what just had happened because there was a room filled with young people, hillbillies, black people (sorry the owner who did this was BLACK too)...and I just looked around and they just all stood up and prayed.
These aholes never prayed to anything in their lives, but they needed a job.

I would starve on the street before I would let someone do that nonsense to me.

So, I'm sure he is locked up somewhere by now breaking all kinds of laws.  But, Trump will probably pardon him.

You know I've said "nothing surprises me any longer".  Well I was wrong. When I read about that experience you had I was FLOORED! I have heard of business owners demanding their employees make political contributions to favored politicians (Republicans of course) and I thought that was terrible enough. I never worked anywhere that required me to do dumba** stupid dumb things like that. Fortunately. I wonder though is demanding that folks pledge allegiance to the flag the same kind of thing? I"m gonna ask. Allegedly those who do are patriotic and those who don't aren't. The bogus current prez uses that as a cudgel. Why anyone pays any attention to anything he says is beyond me. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday!  :)
