Remember the "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" guy? Tiny Tim? He certainly was odd. He even got married and everyone wondered what was wrong with her. I believe he called her "Miss Vicky". So folks do these things to set them apart from others so they will get the attention they obviously crave. Any kind of attention is better than being unnoticed/ignored/invisible to them. I wonder where such a need is born?
