Lester Holt had an interesting interview with Twitter CEO. He asked if leaders had more leeway to say whatever they wanted. The answer?

The Twitter CEO said he thinks it is very important for world leaders to let people know what they think, how they express themselves without restriction and ultimately whom they are. Lester specifically had asked him about TGITWH calling Omarosa a dog. That was the CEO's response. I think he makes a very good point. With every tweet TGITWH tightens the noose around his neck. Why stop him from doing that?

Do you agree that letting us see all the ugly and vile and evil and venal and racist and bigoted and greedy and seedy and needy parts of him is important so we can truly "know" what he is no matter how vicious and vitriolic and insulting and hateful he is? Why protect him from the ugliest parts of whom he is? Let us see him in all his naked glory. Unvarnished. No makeup. No lighting him and televising him from his "good" side. What you see is what you get and what he tweets is exactly what he is.

Food for thought.
