Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Wonder if the reds who support donjohntrump would be thrilled if their children mimicked him and became just like him? Would you?
They could do a lot worse. They could shave their heads, grow a goatee and imitate Lenin or wear a pince nez and copy Trotsky or any other super star of the Socialist movement. Imitation will always be a sincere form of flattery no matter where it comes from.
I disagree with thee emphatically. Have YOU ever been imitated or copied?. I don't imitate anyone. I am the authentic me and wish to be no one else. However in my long time on earth there have been here and there wannabe imitators. I once had a co-worker tell me she wanted to be "another you Rosie...I want to be exactly like you". I was not flattered. I was appalled. I find that most upsetting and disconcerting and want no part of it. It is not a compliment to me. Once long ago on another internet social site (Answerbag) one of the members asked me if I would mind his using my questions on another internet social site. Now I was pleased that he asked. I never in a million years would have known about it. I told him the truth. I honestly did not mind if he wanted to use them since once I ask a question it no longer belongs to me. I am only interested in asking what occurs to me. I do not have a patent on the questions I ask nor any desire to keep them as my own with proper attribution. I guess I'm not that needy for attention. I don't think the gentleman was in any way imitating me. He found value in the questions and wanted to share them with others I expect. Whether he ever gave any attribution to me directly or indirectly I don't know and I really don't care. Anyway I just beat a dead horse. Trump is a FASCIST. Dictionary definition. So you prefer FASCISM to SOCIALISM then DA? I don't. We don't see eye-to-eye here. So what, right? Life goes on for each of us very nicely without the approbation of others. Thank you for your reply! :)

There have been many times when I wished I could have the patience my boss has when dealing with difficult people. In the 27 years I've been working with him, I've only heard him raise his voice twice to an attorney on the other side of a transaction. I, on the other hand, am more inclined to anger or irritation when people do really dumb things or are in position that require them to perform certain functions and they fail to do that because they don't understand what you're asking of them. You can't solve a problem if you don't understand what that problem is. I think I'm fairly articulate, so when I explain what I need from someone and they don't get it, I try explaining it again in a different way. If it isn't understood then, I want to slam the phone down and try again with someone else.
