Do vegans/vegetarians HATE meat eaters? Would they sabotage undermine vilify one another because of it? Silly right? But politics is a different kettle of fish. That's where hate is great and vilify is de rigeure. Wonder when where why it started?
Passions are inflamed in Politics. Sports as well. Religion too. What you choose, support could be the end of you. People have gotten badly hurt at sporting events when fights break out among the fans. I often wonder if the combatants were drunk or on drugs. What other things inflame enrage humans besides politics sports and religion?
