Per donjohn John McCain was not a hero because he was captured/tortured. Do you agree with he of what a hero be?

Is donjohn  HERO to thee? He never fought in any war so he was neither captured nor tortured. In fact he quite coincidentally developed bone spurs which was his reason for draft dodging 5 times I think.

    Not having ever served anyone but himself, Trump can not fathom the level of sacrifice of those who have worn the unform in harm's way. He is thus wholly unqualified to speak on it. 

    McCain is a hero. Period. End of line. Whether one agrees with his politics or not, he endured more hardship serving his country than most anyone can imagine, and came out strong on the other end. Even those imprisoned with him have affirmed this. Since then, McCain has continued in public service for five decades. 

    I call for ANY CLAIM that anyone could submit to show Trump is heroic by any measure, much less by comparison to John McCain.

    I'd like to see that too DB. Think we can count that high, you and I, thee and me? Well we would sure try! The  guy in the White House always goes out of his way to take the opposite tack on what is respectful polite kind humane. I wonder why? I think I shall ask. Thank you for your reply. So far a dearth of silence from them. Not the usual plethora of scripted canned "excuses"  from the usual suspects in defense of him. I wonder why?
