The buzz word they are using is "recapture control of the Congress". They don't dare use the word impeachment because people won't vote for more strife, division, obstruction and phony baloney hearings and investigations that last until the 2020 presidential election. But as much as I hate to say it, history has shown that in every midterm election since 1862, the party in power has lost seats 92% of the time. Regarding impeachment, they either have something or they don't. If something was there at this moment, the hysterical media would be screaming it from the mountain tops.
I don't place much credence in polling data. For that matter, neither does Hillary Clinton. I do believe that the American electorate is the most gullible, ignorant and clueless on God's green earth. With Americans, unless it pertains to sports and entertainment, it really doesn't matter. Lotsa folks can't even identify the nation's capitol on a map, much less tell you what goes on there.
Polls serve the pollster at least as much as they serve the public. Poll questions are typically framed to elicit specific responses. Who exactly gets polled?
That said, look at the indignation, don’t mistake the hypocrisy. Trumpsters cry “fake” at every poll don’t like, while just as loudly touting the ones that please them. We all know which biased single outlet those come from.
Truth has no role in Trumpworld. Their orange Fuhrer has only a passing relationship with truth, his lackeys tune in only what they want to hear. They don’t register the contradictions, the racism, the pettiness and pervasive insecurity so apparent in their demagogue‘s mental illness. They emulate him. The majority of Americans still disagree with their view. Like it or not.
Trumpsters are gonna hear less and less that they like. They’ll handle it very poorly. You heard it here.

Folks support what they like. There is no accounting for taste. Used to be Americans supported the Constitution, the Rule of Law and dare I say civility among people including politicians. But then along came the donjohn who exemplifies the worst of the worst in humans and a large segment of the population took him to their collective bosom and will never let go. They are there for good. Now of course inquiring minds ask "WHY"? The only answer to that is that they are as corrupt and crooked at heart as he is in reality and so they honor him and exalt him and praise him and defend him and support him because in a way they are him! They bond together in hate. They relate. The racists among them FINALLY have a defender in him and have come out from under their white sheets and proudly walk the walk and talk the talk and do the deeds of RACISTS out in the open knowing he has their backs! He has legalized it, supported it, defended it and lies all the time to preserve it. What more could they want in a hero? SIGH. So we shall see if enough of us vote and what the outcome will be. We know everything is already being attacked. We know the election is rigged and that Russia has been working against us for many decades to take us down. What we don't know yet is how furious the electorate is about the abomination serving as so-called prez. Will they get off their butts and vote? I hope so. I dare not opine on the odds though. People say one thing and do another so until the final vote count is taken we won't know. If the election goes off without a hitch I will be very surprised. The Republicans are doing their dam*dest to minimize or prevent Dems in some areas from voting. The only way they can ever win is to cheat so of course there will be that element with which we have to deal. But maybe we will get lucky this time! Maybe we will overcome.
