I'll tell you why. If it's a puff piece and complimentary he soaks it up and thinks it's due him because of course there is no one as wonderful as he is. If it's not it just gives him so many more targets to attack. The author(in this case Bob Woodward) AND more importantly all the folks that surround super don who are quoted as saying things about him that make him look like a wackadoodle dipstick. He loves fights. He gets off on them. The more the merrier. Bob Woodward has qioted specific people whom he named. What's a super don to do? It matters not what it's about. He is once again front and center. Senator John McCain and Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin have left the stage and the spotlight is once again on him. He couldn't be happier. Couldn't ask for anything more. Lucky stiff isn't he?
