How about adding your bit to a story?

Here's the scenario...

Sir Oliphant, the decadent elephant and Brendin, the gremlin penguin are best friends.

So too are Camilla, the vanilla gorilla and Blossom, the winsome possum who have known each other since kindergarten.

Strangers arrive and stay. They are thy son, Tyson, the bison and Maximillian, the machiavellian cameleon. They haven't met each other yet. Tyson could be a bully, or he could be a peace maker but we don't know him yet. Maximillian keeps changing, or seeming to, so we don't know what he's up to.

Source Force, was once the fastest and strongest force around, with a lifelong devotion to Tripitaka, an incarnation of the Buddha, but now this horse is old, tired and hoarse. Source has deep wisdom and knows how to cultivate compassion and wisdom in others.

Maxi has just met Oliphant and Brendin and is quickly charming them.

What happens next?

Each next answer flows from the previous one to build the story.

I love this game, but loathe this story and don't want to participate.  I'll check back to see how it is progressing.

  • OK, so I'm having a shot at restarting the story.

One day, Camilla, the vanilla gorilla is sunbaking with Blossom, the possum, down by the edge of a water hole at the base of some falls. Camilla startles from her drowsiness when a mango lands with an uncomfortable thump on her stomach. It splits open, and the ripe fragrance is mouth-wateringly sweet.

Blossom's winsome little nose and whiskers twitch alert. "Mind if I share that picnic morsel?" she asks.

"Sure, but just a minute, how did the mango get here? The tree's way behind us." Camilla lazily sits up and looks around. The fruit slides down her belly and Blossom catches it in her paws.

Peaking out from beneath the shadows of the huge branches of fruit trees is the head of an adolescent bull elephant. He's looking at them with a cheeky twinkle in his eye, full of machismo, his small tasks gleaming in the sunlight.  "That's my missile you've got there. It looks like I got your attention!" he calls, and he shakes his head playfully.

"Oh, Blossom! Look at him! He's gorgeous!" whispers Camilla

    [So, what happens next?]
