In the olden days of long ago mine was ABALONE. Simply prepared unfettered with fancy dancy sauces. Cooked simply in butter. A bit of heaven. But that last time I had any was maybe 25 years ago! There was a seafood store that carried it once upon a time. I wonder if abalone is extinct?
