My life has always been wide. I prefer to do my best to live life to it‘s fullest. Staying on a narrow path would bore me to tears, and would probably throw me into a deep depression.

Not likely. My whole family is open for adventure. My grandmother was 89 and still traveling at least three times a year. She loved the Gulf Coast, Canada and went to Germany several times when she was up in her 70's. I have an aunt in her late 60's who is an over the road truck driver, and still going strong. My dad went hang gliding for the first time when he was in is 50's, so did my mom. Wide open, full speed ahead runs in my family.
Touche m'dear. I have never been a traveler. I have always liked being home. I remember very clearly as a child having the same feelings. I read once that "men are not meant for safe harbors" and I thought that was a silly thing to say. But there would be no discoveries if everyone stayed home. That is my preference and always has so you're right. Age has nothing to do with it. Thank you for your informative reply. Your family sounds very adventurous. Bet you've had tons of fun doing things I shall never experience. Different strokes. I guess I'm timid. It happens! :)
