There was a movie about man who was unable to remember anything from day to day so he left himself notes to read the following
morning.
So here's the thing. If these folks (including super don)suffer from anterograde/retrograde amnesia everything they say and do is always going to be brand new to them. There is no connection to the past. Each thought and action is a separate increment and exists alone all on its own floating out there where everyone else is aware of it except those who have that condition. Now that would explain how and why these folks think super don tells the truth. They can't remember anything to refute it and neither can he. That must be a very scary place to be but those folks can't help it. It's not as if super don lies on purpose. He just doesn't remember from moment to moment what he said or did. 24/7. And the folks who believe him must have the same prevailing limitations.
